Tulsa's Dead Armadillo Brewing Co. is planning a taproom at Tulsa International Airport.
More and more airports in the country are changing to local businesses, keeping money in the local economies. It also lets travelers in Tulsa sample local foods and beverages.
The current sports bar will be turned into a Dead Armadillo taproom. Other local brands going into TIA include Fat Guy's Burger Bar, Topeca and Java Dave's Coffee, as well as Einstein Bros. Bagels.
"We've been working for several months on the deal and are excited to finally be able to announce it to the public. The plan is for construction on our space to be started May 1 and run over the next 90 days or so. ;We should see it open late summer," said Toney Peck, founder of Dead Armadillo Brewing Co.
Dead Armadillo Brewing Co.'s taproom should be completed sometime in August.
